Short Track Training 2024 Time Change

We are thrilled to announce that from next year, our Short Track Training time slot will be changing to Mondays, 17:30-18:30! The first training session at this new time will be Monday 8th January 2024.

Skaters are asked to arrive by 17:00 at the latest (the earlier the better!), to help with setting up the pads. Equally, skaters will be expected to stay slightly after 18:30 to assist with putting the pads away.

We hope this change will make the session more accessible to those that wish to train, but need to travel from further afield.

Our club is still young, and our stock of rental skates and safety equipment is limited. In addition to speed skates, a helmet, neck guard, gloves, knee pads and shin pads are mandatory. If you need to borrow equipment, please get in contact in advance so that we can ensure we have enough for the coming session. We may have to ask newcomers to stagger their attendance to ensure a good experience for everyone.

Anyone interested in purchasing equipment should also reach out; We will connect you with those best placed to advise and supply you.

Racers with their own equipment are always welcome to attend; Please ensure you're registered with us first though!

The session price remains the same; £15 per skater.
