Community
Every community ice skating club exists in symbiosis with its host rink, but the arrangement of "who offers what" tends to very between localities (and countries!). Our organisation was founded to complement the Cambridge Ice Arena; enabling ice skating opportunities that the rink itself isn't able to manage.
In Cambridge, the Cambridge Ice Arena hosts the figure skating community's Patch/Training Ice as part of their published timetable, as well as associated memberships. Private coaching also takes place on Training Ice. The rink also hosts a Learn to Skate Programme, for those looking to get into the sport and achieve the level required for Patch Ice and beyond.
Our club hosts more specialised sessions outside of typical Patch Ice, including Galas, Ice Dance Socials, Short Track Speed Skating and Open Competitions. Explore our website to find out more!
