Learn to Skate
The Club does not have any offerings for beginner skaters, however, Cambridge Ice Arena runs the BIS Skate UK Learn to Skate Programme.
These are 30min group lessons of up to 10 people, suitable for any skater with no formal ice skating training. All Learn to Skate coaches hold BIS coaching qualifications, so you'll be learning the basics from an expert.
Head over to Better’s lessons website to find out more and book a weekly slot. Note that if no lessons appear on searching, it means that the programme is currently full. Check back daily - the programme is very popular, but spaces become available as current students progress through the levels.
Once a skater has passed Skate UK Level 8, they'd be more than welcome to join in our sessions!
